Foliage really smells like rootbeer when I brush them while weeding.

They are blooming first year from seed, but I am hoping for better blooms next season, if they overwinter.

Most of the seedlings I planted were too close, where this one I could have planted closer together and they would have filled in nicer.

These are what they look like this year. I now realize I didn't plant them too close together!

The ones along my front entry are blooming later than the ones in the butterfly garden. I think it is due to them not getting sun as early in the morning along the front of the house and possibly because I transplanted some of them in early summer, because they were getting much taller than I had anticipated.

Nice close up of flowers that shows the purplish bracts and coral pink flowers.

These look really good with Sedum 'Autumn Joy'. If I do it over the Agastache would need to go behind the sedum because it is taller, or the Agastache in the center with sedum on each side would look even better.
