These plants come in an array of colors from soft pastels to hot reds and pinks. They are excellent container plants, easily grown and cared for, and brighten up any porch, patio or walk way. They are commonly called "zonal" geraniums, and are easily grown from seeds or cuttings. I find them very appealing in groups of different colors, and (in my case) are used to dress up the back porch where they help hide an unsightly propane tank nearby.

This one was bought with several others at a local nursery/greenhouse as cuttings in 4" pots. It was labeled as 'Pinto Scarlet': Very deep red.

And this one is a favorite: It was labeled as 'Apple Blossom'.

This one was labeled 'salmon': Very nice color.

This one was labeled as 'Black Velvet Apple Blossom Hybrid'. The only thing I noticed different about it was the blackish, velvety centers of the leaves. The color is similar to the 'Apple Blossom' pictured above, other than the leaf color.

This is a group photo showing several containers on the back porch. You would hardly notice an LP gas tank is hidden nearby.
