I've liked this shrubby tree for as long as I can remember. Although I do not grow it in my landscape, it grows throughout the state. It is very attractive in September here when the leaves and fruit turn red. From memory I believe it has adapted in all of the continental states. Opinions vary as to invasiveness, but I tend to agree it is. Yet it is well suited for the countryside and woodland edges.
