Initial Notes:

Very pretty mahonia that is grown for its form, foliage, flowers, and berries. The fruits are blue-black and can be made into a jelly (if the birds don't get to them first). These grow best in partial shade. I may have to move mine as they have not done well, I believe because they have gotten too much sun.
