Have added three pink flowering dogwoods along the bank of the lake. These are the variety "rubrus".
February, 2002 - have added 5 more of the 'Rubrus', 2 in the front bed along the lake and 3 at the north end of the front woodland garden. These are about 2 1/2' tall.
One of the large ones I added in the spring of 2001 in the lake bed died at the end of the summer, 2001. The other is doing very well and has a large number of buds for this spring.
