A very pretty evergreen shrub, but a real pain and have not decided if it is worth the trouble. Problems - unbelievable amount of suckering, seedlings sprout everywhere, they are prone to ice breakage, and they have to be pruned very often to keep from getting out of bounds.
However, they do provide berries for the birds, although they are too small to make much of a landscape statement.Back to Copperbaron's Journal homepage.
