Planted garlic in a new bed created this month. Plants started coming up immediately

The last week of January we had very cold weather and some freezing rain. Mulched the garlic heavily.

Feb 2, 2002

Pulled mulch off garlic today. Foliage pale but otherwise in good condition.

Sep 29, 2002

Cloves left in the ground starting to come up. Probably should take that as a sign that this is the time to plant new cloves.
