Initial Notes:

Had a whole family in backyard garden a few years ago. Appeared to come for freeze-dried grubs and for cherries. Cherry trees were in bloom at the time. Mockingbird could be seen chasing bluebird around backyard; but he always stayed. Spent a lot of time perched on sheperds hook "shopping" for insects. Left shortly after cherries were gone.
I can still remember the 1st time I saw the male in the flower garden one spring day. He was so incredibly beautiful! I was elated.
Have been bummed since the family left. Still hoping for another!
