Height: 9 inches; Type/hardiness: Half-hardy Herbaceous Perennial; Prefers sun or part shade; Flowers: Summer; Zones: 6,7,8,9

Sowing:
Sow late winter to mid spring at 70-75F on the surface of a good seed compost and gently firm down. Keep soil damp but not wet. Do not exclude light, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 14-21 days.
Growing:
When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Do not feed as this makes for lush growth and fewer flowers. Acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 8-10 inches apart on moist well drained soil. For pot plants, transplant seedlings into 3 inch pots, grow cool, well ventilated and give plenty of light but shade from direct sun.
Aftercare:
After flowering shear plants lightly to encourage second flush of blooms.

the worlds smallest seeds maybe- at least one of them- sprinkled some dirt inside and then dumped onto the area around the hostas under the rose bush
had to open the pouch and rub against the ground to get all the seeds out- about the size of lice, look disturbingly similar w/o magnification ;p

either they came up and I pulled them, or they didn't come up at all
