"Yes, plant bulbs so they have about 2" of dirt covering them. Starting them in a 4" pot is OK. What size bulbs are they?
The MG potting soil works great!! It's light and it drains well. I use it too but I also mix in Peat humus. A combination of Peat Humus and MG potting soil will do the best!!
You can add "a little" fertilizer to each pot. I would put the bulb down 2", cover it with an inch of dirt and then sprinkle "a little" 6-6-6 and then cover with the remaining inch of dirt"

ok, they are up! and I hate them
laugh, isn't that ridiculous- they look just like the pics, why didn't I know this before I bought them?!
They are very cool and gorgeous in their own way, I just don't like them and don't know why. Probably cause Karen went over and tried to pick one up thinking it was trash caught in the hostas :/ then she laughed at me, and said- oh! those are pretty.....I know they aren't- I have eyes- they look ridiculous in our yard- I placed them too far apart and picked exactly the wrong coloration for the spot- they look like windblown trash, and we have enough of that thank you!

a MM seedpod- i'd love to know what it got fertilized with, cause there weren't any other caladium flowers up when this one was blooming- odd, cool, but I can't wait to see what comes out of those seeds
pic is real blurry, not sure why, I'll get a better one

Right before bagging for the winter- keeping them, they look great once they fill in, and are very undemanding for how much color they give

and my oh so professional job of bagging (which will hopefully work regardless)
