Planted these guys up to their necks today- in pots to be able to bring in if frost- hope they do well, they look great and are small enough to pass through the trauma hopefully

i'd already munched by the time I took the pic- probably ate about 1/3

bowls and bowls of maters from one plant- grow again in a heartbeat
took it out today, think it's done, or I'm done anyhow
great bearer, even for a complete newbie
it does tend to crack, at least this year, but it was a rain soaked year with periods of dryness
oh and i didn't trim it- next year, i'll plant two, give them better support than tomato cages, and trim them every few days to keep them to a non floppy normal length
I did maybe 5 days of hose watering all year- it just seemed to never need it
