Initial Notes:

put 12 in the ground today- bought them as annuals, but will see if they return next year- using them as a background plant in the corner, hope they bloom, they are kind of small little guys

just starting to bud out- nice and healthy, must be a dwarf variety, because they are under a foot

they've gone to seed, going to harvest it and see if I get any next year- short lived, but really pretty flowers- very colorful

  Oct 16, 2006
not so short lived :) still blooming- now few days after this snow:
they bloomed once nicely and then seeded- and then had just an abundance of blooms- I'll look for pics of those, but not sure if I took any- very very nice, and I have lots of seeds to replant

harvested seed from these Aug 2, stored them in the freezer, and then sowed them outside today in place

no takers- weird, must have put out 1000s of seeds, and not one grew? were they sterile? or maybe just tasty

  Jul 8, 2007
had some volunteer outside of my fence :) the ones inside are too shaded by the rose, but the outside ones look good- need to get a pic- only yellow and white though :( I liked the red ones best

  Jul 19, 2007
hey- I got 2 inside!! maybe there are more below the fairy that have yet to make their way to daylight
