We had another play date at our friends' house, and this time we stayed and had dinner, then played games. What fun people they are. :)
Emma's 5 weeks older in these pictures, and boy has she ever grown! Compare these shots to the ones in the "Puppy Play Date 2-9-02" at Hyperlink
Emma's a 20 weeks old here.

This time all three dogs played almost right from the start, but Sarah pooped out soon and retreated to her post on the porch like she did the last time we visited.

Here's more of the three of them having fun.

Emma wishes she had a nose as big as Dan's. Someday, puppy, someday...

She's getting bigger every time we look at her. On February 9, our first puppy play date, she was tiny compared to now...

She still loves to run, and now she's not quite so gangly and clumsy at it!

Sarah even played with Dan by herself this time around.

Our friend treats everyone to goodies when they play, just like kids getting Kool-Aid and cookies. ;)

This isn't a great picture, but it's the only one I could get with Sarah and Emma side-by-side. It shows how Emma's caught up to Sarah in size. Now (4/2/02), she's taller than Sarah and Howie laughed when he saw Sarah walk beneath Emma yesterday; it used to be the other way around!

Another one for size-comparison, for a frame of reference.

I think Emma really looks up to Dan -- whadda ya think?
Sarah models the coat our friends gave us for Emma; they'd bought it for their previous greyhound when he was a puppy, but their dog Dan is too big for it.
A short-haired dog, Emma gets cold easily and really could use a coat when it's bitterly cold outside. She stands and quakes when it's very cold and the wind is blowing. This coat's a wee bit too big for Sarah, but Emma will grow into it, we suspect.

Another of our fashion plate, Sarah. She's not as flashy as Emma and doesn't get quite as much attention from strangers, so we do what we can to build her self-esteem, LOL. ;)
