palmbob's Journal: A schelp aloe schelpii probably; percrassa- NOT front rock area

Initial Notes:

Just learned about this species a year ago, and then I see one for sale at CSSC. In about a 5" pot. Nice plant. Put out front at end of rock garden near the circular brick cactus planters.
Pretty sure this is NOT Aloe percrassa... could be schelpii, which it looks a lot like ,and another plant labeled as A schelpii from the same vendor looks just like this one.

looks exactly like Aloe schelpei flowers... and my guess is that's what it is

aloe was completely for over a year by Aloe hardyi sucker... removed that a few weeks ago. and this plant still looks good, though doubt it will flowerthis year
