put in 3 small ones against the side of the house last fall, they seem to have made it through the winter, but guess I'll find out next month :)

late fall 2006- was i smoking crack when i said these guys were happy? they haven't been happy for the last 1/2 year anyway, they look a week away from giving up....well, if they don't shape up this summer, they are getting replaced....had no idea i'd already given them over a year?! not a good spot :( for them, obviously, they grow like weeds at my folks

hell, now grass doesn't even grow here....scilla do though ;) ...and garlic chives
wonder how much of it is the shade, how cold it is with the wind hitting that wall (this is exactly where the pipes freeze) ,and how saturated the area is with dog pee

the wall now....next project is putting down chips instead of grass- grass and gallons of dog pee do not mix

these still do not look the way i want- thinking about taking them out in favor of a few small bushes that like shade
