1st cycle of warm - brings seeds out of dormancy.
2nd cycle of cold - forms bulb
3rd cycle of warm - seedling sprouts

Started seed on 11/16 - kept moist on top of fridge - room temperature.
Started 24 cells of seed with 2-3 seeds in each cell.
Move to cold on Feb. 16th 2008

Checked seeds to see if a bulb is forming. Dug up a few and noticed the seeds have plumped up - with a small circle swollen in the center of the seed.

Moved to unheated porch.

Move seeds to unheated porch for 30 day cold cycle. If towards the end of the cold period (May 16, 2008) - it warms up and they don't sprout -move to fridge to finish cold cycle.

Out of 6 packs, I have 12 sprouts which germinated in unheated room. Hopefully they are all canadense, because I think I added a small amount of michiganense to them. I think some are more likely canadense because one cell has 3 sprouts in it. Today I moved the flat to my zip up greenhouse.
Hopefully they will continue to germinate.
