Initial Notes:

We had her scheduled to be spayed in August, but she decided to go into heat in July. Ugh. Can't wait for this to be over and for her to have her operation!

Emma became a woman today, July 22. She's not too fond of this plastic feminine belt, but what are ya gonna do?

When the plain plastic belt twisted and got off kilter, it was ugly. I attempted to make an outer diaper out of an old bandana. All this succeeded in doing was making her look like some long-lost relative of Jimmy Buffett. ;)

Howie accidently brought home pull-on medium training pants instead of diapers, but so far they are still on her, LOL.

Emma wanted in the bathroom. She'd just had a bath, and Howie had her closed out while he gave Sarah hers. Emmy hates being separated from Sarah.

Howie sat down in his chair after Sarah's bath was done...And it looks like all is forgiven. Emma thinks Howie's head is a big old gourmet lollipop.

She thinks she's quite the fashion plate and that every dog will be rushing to the stores now.

The plain training pants did not fit snugly enough to stay on. So...I broke out the duct-sealing tape and made tabs like on a disposable diaper. Hey - the bag of training pants was $9 and we sure weren't going to buy diapers, too!
