Seedlings keep opening in this mild, sunny weather; and most have yellow in them. There have been several shades of yellow including combinations of white, cream, brown & tan. Most are quite run of the mill if not downright ugly! So indeed there will be a lot of give-aways this year.
The seedling in this entry is from a cross of Chubby Cheeks X Kiss Me Quick, and looks a lot like #08-1 except the falls are almost all white with a very narrow lavender blue band around the edges. The well domed standards are nicely ruffled and heavily peppered and stitched in light lavender blue. Height is approximately 12". Beards are white, and tipped yellow in the throat. It's well worth another year of evaluation.

Here is #08-3. For the life of me my camera does not capture the more subdued shade of lavender blue which is plain to the eye in the garden, -especially in bright sun. I am not one to attempt color correction with software since any modification in color leaves the picture looking a bit un-natural. So I aim for proper focus and keep whatever results.
