Right off the top of my head I can't remember the parentage, but I will come back later and note it. This one opened two days ago, and I shrugged it off after a couple of quick pictures. When I was out this morning I looked at it again in the aftermath of storm damage, and gave it a second look. Then I decided to give it a chance to become a keeper. As with all seedlings I want to give them an opportunity, but realistically (and down deep) I know just like in preceding years they will be narrowed down to just a few, or even none.
