I spent the entire day insulating the outside walls that could be insulated. The wiring is done, but the plumber isn't coming until tomorrow, so I had to leave the bathrooms and kitchen uninsulated until he gets done. I worked until 11:00 tonight to get all done that I could so I could go to Bowman for Jaden's football game tomorrow night. He is starting JV and also playing Varsity even though he's a freshman. I'm not going to be able to make most of the away varsity games, but I'll make as many as I can. They played New Town at home Friday night, varsity, and he played quite a bit. They won 20-0. Go Bantams!!!!
Also, this is Labor Day weekend, and the lady I called last week about a solid oak china cabinet called me back Saturday, so we went and looked at it Sunday, and we both loved it. We paid $1000 for it, but it's well worth it. We were pricing them in the furniture stores, and lots were an oak veneer for lots more money. This is solid oak and in mint shape. So, we bought it and went back Sunday evening and got it. We are storing it at MIL's until we get the house finished enough to bring it home. I'm really excited about it. I've wanted one for a long time. It is VERY heavy!!!!!!Back to JoanJ's Journal homepage.
