This one finally bloomed here today (May 25, 2008) for the first time since planting two years ago. Although it is a nice iris as BB's go, I am a little disappointed since it is not quite what I was expecting.
It was registered by Paul Black in 2000, and introduced by Mid-America Gardens in 2001. It is listed as 26" in height, and blooming at EM. The standards are described as light yellow, and the falls as white with a large dark purple band streaking and blending into the white. Beards are bright lemon yellow, and there is a slight spicy fragrance.

This picture was taken today in moderate afternoon sunlight. The problem with the picture was the wind constantly shaking the flower, making it almost impossible to get a sharp focus.

Again, the constant blowing of wind was a problem with getting this picture. Sunlight was moderate.
