Initial Notes:

From Dirr - "‘Woodlander’s Blue’ is a beautiful glaucous blue foliage shrub that also provides fragrant white, bell-shaped flowers in large clusters during May-June. The remarkable leaves, 1 to 3 inches long, are covered with a white waxy deposit that produces a blue cast to the upper surface; chalk white on the lower. The wax can be rubbed off and one can actually write his/her name on the lower surface. This gracefully arching shrub grows 2 to 3 feet high and wide. Fall colors range from bronze to red. Leaves persist late into fall."
