Deciduous shrub. Prune heavily (can be pruned nearly to the ground) in the spring to promote new growth and abundant flowers - blooms only appear on new growth. propogation - seeds, stem cuttings. light - full sun. blooms - late summer to fall. height - 2 ft. width - 2 ft. zones 5-9. attracts bees and butterflies. Needs light for seed germination.
Just cover seeds in well drained media. Germination in 30 to 90 days at 65 to 70F. May be slow and irregular.
