This is the largest of the plants. Small bloom on it looks dried out. Don't know why because it's been very well watered. Have total of 5 plants I think...others are MUCH smaller.

Two astilbes have greening at the soil surface as of today. Checked a few days ago and there was nothing.

Have a total of 5 of these in this bed. This is the largest it is the furthest back in the bed directly behind the Bradford Pear.
Haven't had blooms on these yet. Maybe this year....I can't even remember what color they were suppose to be.

Dug up 3 of the astilbe and transplanted to new East shade bed. Actually have 3 left in the south shade bed so had a total of 6 apparently!

This is the same plant at the very back. This shows a very blurry bloom forming. I think I'll actually have some plumes this year!!

And finally...after 3 years a bloom!!! This one is white, but looks like I might have a pink one too.
