This rare ornamental shrub or small tree grows to about 15-20' in height. The open branches hold large dark green, glossy leaves, displaying highly pronounced venation. White flowers, to about 1" in width, are held on long, drooping stalks. The flowers, appearing in April or May, dangle in clusters of 3-5 to increase the effect. A profusion of fruit is produced and hangs in clusters of 3-5, accentuating the dropping foliage.Back to Copperbaron's Journal homepage.
