Initial Notes:
Dr. Clifford Parks indroduction for Zone 6b, from 1995. Parents: 'Bernice Boddy' by 'Dr. Tinsley.' Vigorous, fast growing plant, flowers large, cream to pink shaded semi-double. Blooms early to late season. Ordered 1 yo plant from Camellia Forest for planting between windows of master br. Vegitative characteristics of C japonica: glabrous pubescence, stout upright grwoth habit, new grwoth is bright green, upper surface is glossy bright green, midrib on lower side is raised, prominent, veins are not raised but apparent.
