Very showy large (1") dark blue or violet lupine-like flowers on erect spikes from May through June, handsome foliage of bluish clover-like leaves up to 3" long, interesting dark dry seed pods. Does not like to be transplanted.
Suggested companion plants with similar blooming seasons: Peonies, Poppies, Iris, Lilies.
Plants with different blooming times: Russian Sage, Gypsophilia, Asters, Echinacea

Per germination instructions, poured hot water over seeds. Will let soak for 1-3 days, until noticeable swelling occurs.
