Milestones

  • On Mar 30, 2004, "Seeds Sown" occurred.

    Initial Notes:

The absolute star of a very extensive lettuce trial, Plato is amongst the best Romaine we have ever evaluated. Leaves are very meaty with a fine sweet flavor. It is also exceptionally slow to bolt and doesn't get bitter as the season progresses. The color of the slightly savoyed leaf is a glossy medium green. Plato is virus resistant and impervious to tipburn. Plato II is an improvement on the original.
