These instructions pertain to Windows users. Mac users will copy and paste text differently, but the [quote] tags used at DG are the same.
1. Copy the text you wish to quote. To do this, highlight the text with your mouse and press CTRL+C to copy it into your Windows clipboard.
2. Go to Dave's Garden and to the new post text box. Begin typing your post.
3. When you're ready to post the quote, you'll need to do a couple of things:
First type [quote]
Next, press CTRL+V on your keyboard. This will paste the text from your clipboard.
Last, type [/quote] at the end of the text you just pasted
LIKE THIS:
[quote]The text you want to quote goes in here.[/quote]
Then go one and type whatever else you want and it will appear below the quote.
