a full-sun plant with solid green leaves and bright-red and purple flowers, reaches a height and spread of 12 to 14 inches in the garden. This trailing plant can be used in mixed containers, baskets and as a groundcover.
'Firecracker' flowers year-round, with shortest crop times and heaviest flowering occurring during spring and summer.
Apply a balanced fertilizer at 150 to 200 parts per million at every watering to ensure maximum growth and flowering. A slow-release fertilizer can be applied to supplement a liquid feed program. Under-fertilized plants tend to become woody and somewhat leggy and produce smaller leaves and flowers.
Plants should be pinched five to seven days after transplanting. Plants in large containers (6 inches or more) require a second pinch 14 to 21 days after the first.

ht: 12-14 in.

Wow! What a fantastic plant! The larger two under Merry's window were spectacular bloomers for nearly ever! Now I've trimmed them back and am hoping for a repeat performance. The smaller two at the back gate bloomed a bit but did not make a big show of it.
