Very long, dark green, pointed, narrow leaves grow up to 3 ft. or more long and .5 in. wide with sheathed triangular bases. Round flower stalks are born in leaf axils up to 5 ft. high with large individual umbels of conspicuous pink flowers. Generally slow growing.
