Bulbous perennials found in grasslands from North to South America. They are grown for their erect, funnel-shaped, and crocus-like flowers. The plants flower from late spring to fall or when the foliage emerges from the soil and usually a few days after a rainstorm. They make excellent rock garden plants or do well in the front of sunny borders.

Planted today in same pot as Torenia - I think the Pink and Blue will make a nice color combination.

The lilies Dave and Trish sent are already blooming - what a great plant!

And now I have some more from Lisa herself - yeah!!!!!!

Dug up all the rain lilies and potted them in two quart-size containers to bring into the greenhouse for the winter.
