Got this mail order Mesa gardens... don't know much about it... sad looking plant, but growing well in the garden and looks good now.
Now that it's 2007 and this plant is flowering, I can compare to what little information there is on this plant on the internet (can find NOTHING elsewhere)... and so far, all photos of this plant on the internet are different from each other... but NOT show a spotted aloe like I have. Oops. Now what? One shows a plant a lot like Aloe fleurentinorum... one shows a larger aloe with lots of flat, bright green, unspotted leaves and multibranched orange flowers. And one shows (mistakenly) a photo of Aloe capitata). Hmmm
