Got a nice 5 gal of this last week.. wonderful pale yellow and green striped stems... not too many culms in pot, but roots look impressive. Put in large 1/2 barrel (the one other stuff rotted in before I drilled holes in it). Soil nice and moist. Left other plants in container with it- might eventually crowd them out.

end of May 06 a new shoot takes off above the roof.. no thicker than the last, but at the opposite side of the pot.

new shoot finally found its way (with my help) out from under patio... last one just went straight into the roof and broke off.

Finally got a stalk to make it from under the patio... will be great when 4-8 of them do
