Initial Notes:

Got a large one of these a few years ago and has traveled with me since. Still in tall clay pot which it's been in since summer 04. Been pruned several times- heavily this winter.

Finally decided to make this plant more interesting, so took it out of the clay pot (had to break the pot to get it out) and put in a shorter pot, with its gnarled curled roots exposed (some of them)...

plant had to be leaned up on planter as it slowly 'fell' over during August.. but now seems better rooted into pot... but moved over to this corner of yard since sort of keeping me from enjoying the plants in plant 11. Hoping it will start growing upright and make a nice curved trunk
