probably the last photo before we cut it back (getting sort of ratty, and flowers falling in the pond, causing water to run out of it). But it should grow back nicely next year.

getting really too large for small spot it's in, so dug it up (sort of fell apart- has multiple rhizomes) and put 90% of it out front against neighbor's storm fence, in hopes that when wind blows, it will not blow over. The 10% still left behind was put next to planter 10 on the outside to help shade that side of the planter.

plant still fell over despite fence. chopped those two off after this photo, and watered the heck out of it.

of course this thing was burnt to a crisp this freeze, but bulbs look OK... dug it up, and moved it 2' south to make room for the Cedrus atlantica pendula that was in the back (got a new one of those, too).
