Gentle Shepherd: Introduced by Yancey 1982. Of the three white daylilies I grow this is my top pick! Not only is it a pristine white, the small green throat adds to its appeal. Last summer was hot and DRY in bloom season, and this one bloomed well where some others suffered.

This was taken during blistering heat and very dry soil. I'm surprised it did so well.
