" I have used the AIS Database Checklist for this iris, and as you can see it was registered in 1977 and introduced in 1978.

This picture is close-up 'straight-on', and shows Cherry Smoke's colors and form in good detail. I am impressed with this iris.

I hesitated to use this picture because it shows a stem of another iris blown down in upper left background. I like to use this angle because it gives a little different 'take' on its appearance, especially the beards.
