Have been here at least since spring 05. source unknown, probably bagged, local source, probably planted fall 04 or spring 05.have seen single red and purple here.

Foliage forming, one bloom has sneaked in. hope the Feb "winter" weather doesn't hurt them.

Bloom is HUGE! Last year they were 2-2.5"d, this one is the size of my hand!

HUGE blooms as large as my outstretched hand. At least 6"D!

interesting to note effect of journal. when i saw this plant blooming, i thought it was confused due to our almost non-existant winter this year. when i went to add the milestone, i noticed that it was only about 1 wk ahead of last year's date. hmm.
