This is a nice color in SDB irises, and the official description calls it 'apricot', but I have a different take on it. It looks more like its parent 'Chanted' which has more of a pinkish/tan color. BUT, I'm not 'officially' describing anything! I like it just like it is! (P. S. I apologize for the fly)

Overhead close-up view: Nice, no matter how you describe its color!

I'm updating the photo here in spite of sustained winds of 25-35 MPH! As an avid gardener, I also like photographing what I grow. Each morning brings something new; and today was Scion's turn to bloom. Overnight storms and driving rains damaged a lot of blooms, so I was in luck to find a few undamaged flowers. Weather of all kinds, including blazing sunlight can make photography a real challenge for me!!!

I want to explain (if one read the above entry) that I am not an expert camera man. In fact I still use a simple 'point 'n shoot' digital with few bells and whistles. Weather conditions of all kinds, including harsh sunlight and strong winds makes this difficult for me! Here's another shot of Scion.
