This is another report I do not like to make, As much as I wanted this iris to grow, it simply refused to survive. In winter it would get botritis with the rhizomes turning a sickly blackish gray; in summer it was overcome by soft rot. As long as I kept it in a fairly sheltered spot it survived; but finally succumbed. It is unfortunate, because it was a very nice iris.

I just ran across another picture today from 2004. A nice iris, but unfortunately lost.
