palmbob's Journal: A long Aloe longibracteata aka greatheadii var davyla back planter 2

  • Member: palmbob

  • Status: planted in ground at new home

Initial Notes:

Got this in early spring 05 from Mesa Gardens, and just remembering to record it now. Planted at far south end of planter 2 sort-of under the Hesperaloe.

Turns out I had this plant entered 2x under both names... so deleted the greatheadii heading, since this one had more photos. But now missing a few stages... however, no loss, really.

suckering a lot

this plant is suckering to much that it is becoming a weed in that part of the planter... already yanked up a seedling that was alongside the Dasylirion. Will rip out most of the rest of the suckers soon, and maybe plant them along the edges of the brick work...
