Initial Notes:

I can't remember where I got this trumpet lily, and I don't even think it had a name when I got it. The bottom line is: It's too nice to ignore. Growth is on strong 30-36" stems with fine leaves. Blooms are 6-7" in length, mildy fragrant and very nice.

Entries and Updates

This picture shows a fairly accurate color of the flower. The only other color besides the yellow are the amber colored anthers and a light brush of burgundy/purple near the base of the bloom. Any reader who might see this, and knows its ID feel free to contact me. Thanks!

This picture has a little too much sunlight, but shows two open blooms.

Feb. 13, 2006: Posted ID request on Lily Forum; Received several good responses, but no definite ID. Feb. 14, 2006: Ordered several varieties from American Meadows in Vermont, including 'Golden Splendour' which has a close resemblance.
