Initial Notes:

Chicago Pink Peace, Hemerocallis; Introduced by Marsh, 1983. I remember the day I first found this plant in bloom in a large retail nursery. I immediately put it into my cart along with several others. Since that hot July day in 1995, it has never failed to grow and bloom beautifully. It grew rapidly, and each year I would thin the clump, replanting starts everywhere. Today I have about six clumps. I still find it very attractive even with all the new hybrids on the market today.

I've grown this for over 11 years with no regrets. Big pink blooms are tall and stand out in the garden. Very nice!
