took the seedlings (wow, incredible roots! all about 10 of them that bloomed) and put them into little self-watering pots
was very satisfying

tips on growing them
mine are getting really tall, hope the stakes come soon (shipment due on the 14th), now they are just laying down over the coneflowers
will try this next time i sow- [HYPERLINK@davesgarden.com]
guy at the end of the list said "I did some more research on the Sweet Peas and find that for my area I can put them out 4-6 weeks before my last frost date. " and he lives in 4a.....been looking for confirmation, or an exact date, but might need to email him to get it

very few of these made it through- not sure if starting anything by seed is worth it- will try bringing that plastic greenhouse outside next year- and if that doesn't work, i'll just forget it
not nearly as disappointing as last year, but I need to start later, and get them into the ground at that first flowering stage

none of these made it into the ground- should have started them directly in the soil
