Hybridized by Wild 1973. One of the best growers here in this range of color. I cannot begin to describe what the shade of color is, but I could try by using words like "sumptuous, appealing, lilac wine, burgundy wine" and more. Whatever it is, I'll leave that to the "pros". I can factually say, it is an exceptionally good garden daylily with strong growth, hardiness and lots of flowers.
