Initial Notes:

This cultivar was originally a potted plant received several years ago as a gift on some occasion. It has grown for years as a single large stem up to 10" high with many florets. This year it has sent up five (5) stems with much smaller stems and fewer flowers. I suspect the primary bulb has split into several sections, therefore the multiple stems.

It's too bad I don't know the name of this cultivar; it's simply gorgeous. I shot this close up for my own gratification.
