I found this at a nursery in April 2006. It was marked down to $15. The original price tag said $69. It was rather small and $69 dollars would have been absurd, but $15 I could handle! I bought it because I had been looking for the lilac version since last year. I was giving up hope and figured this would be the next best thing. I planted it within a week and two weeks later it bloomed. I was secretly hoping it was tagged wrong and would be lilac! Sadly it was very pink.

I didn't take a picture in time. This is the only flower left.

I moved this after it bloomed. It doesn't seem to mind. I decided to put my cutleaf maple where I originally planted it.
