I planted all 10 of them in pots. All but 3 of them are in the ground (still in their pots). I did this because I want to see which ones are male and which ones are female. The female will produce berries, but they need males for this. Plus I may want to move them around, until I find a good place for them. They looked like sticks when I got them, but they did have buds.

I planted the three that were sitting in pots, in a shady area sometime in the summer of 2006. I still have to plant the rest in the spring. I held out so I can see which ones are male and female.
