This picture is at the end of their bloom season, there are only a couple blooms left. The seed pods are already starting to develop, which probably could have been postponed if dead-headed. However I wanted to be sure to get a good amount of seeds, for re-seeding, which later in the season I did.

Only one of the four plants I planted last spring has returned, possibly due to the unusual winter we had. Lots of very warm weather in January and then lots of freezing/icy weather with no snow cover. Almost every evergreen Rhododedron in the area has had severe damage.
